Closing Season Event 2022

Just like last year, the PGA National Czech Republic golf course hosted a membership tournament for its members at the end of the season. The format of the game was more fun and was held in a Texas scramble format, allowing members to form teams according to their own preferences and try to work together to achieve the best possible result after a 10% playing handicap. A total of 87 players participated this year, which we consider a pretty large turnout. The ladies were allocated the dark green tees and the men the silver tees.

For the first time, members were able to enjoy the tournament with the newly opened clubhouse. A breakfast was prepared for the players before the start of play, which they were also able to enjoy on the terraces of the Chateau, as the weather was very good and the sunshine created a positive atmosphere. Throughout the game, the golf team made sure that the players did not miss anything on the course and the game ran smoothly. We are very happy that we were able to enjoy together one of the last playing days of the 2022 season in great weather and with a new clubhouse.

The winner of the final tournament for 2022 was the team consisting of Jonáš Filgas, Karel Miškovský Junior, Jan Novák a Jakub Kůrka.

Second place went to the team of David Lukas, Jana Lukasová, Kateřina Krásová a Jiří Krása.

The third place belonged to Jana Malečková, Tomáš Topinka, Martin Fiedler a Bořivoj Žák.

At the end, we also want to mention that two yearly competitions were also announced at the tournament. These were the Sunday Oaks Cup, held every Sunday, and a Matchplay sponsored by our partner Callaway. The overall winner of both competitions is Jonáš Filgas and we congratulate him very much.
